China International Logistics Fair

Over the past 4 years, the Holland International Distribution Council (HIDC), Port of Rotterdam, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and the Rotterdam Port Promotion Council have organized a mission to China during the China Logistics Fair (CILF) in Shenzhen. Last year the COVID-19 outbreak threw a spanner in the works and continues to be an issue this year.

In 2020, with support from the Consulate General in Guangzhou, the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, we were able to organise promotional activities during the China International Logistics Fair (CILF). With their continued support in 2021, we aim to continue these promotional activities during the CILF this year. This allows us, as a logistics sector, to present ourselves at this important logistics fair to maintain and strengthen the relationships that has been built up in the past. I would like to inform you about the planned activities and possibilities for you to participate.

The China International Logistics Fair will take place from September 23-25, 2021 in Shenzhen, China. This year The Netherlands will be represented again with a Holland booth. In addition to the booth, we are organizing a networking drink at Ritz Carlton hotel in the evening of the 23rd and logistics seminars on 23rd and 24th . HIDC and the Port of Rotterdam are present with their local representatives. Consulate General, Dutch Customs, and NFIA will also be present on the booth and join the drinks as well as the seminars.

We would like to invite you to visit the booth, the networking drink and the seminars. We also want to give you the opportunity to man the booth for one or more days to promote the Netherlands as the logistics hub of Europe. Given current travel restrictions, travel to China is unlikely to be possible (2 weeks quarantine), but feel free to invite your local colleagues in China to come to the CILF to visit or man the booth.

Participation in the activities and manning the booth is free of charge, travel and accommodation costs are at your own expense. We do ask you to make your participation known by sending an e-mail to Justine ten Hoorn. That will allow us to go through a number of practical matters such as access passes to the CILF Fair and to help you to optimally promote your company during the CILF!
