Established on Sydney’s Northern Beaches in 2011, Cycology Clothing is a creative brand inspired by passion (some say obsession) with cycling. The creative force behind Cycology is an artist & designer who would rather be a full time athlete – but due to lack of talent, balance & the inability to keeping the rubber side down….. stuck to their day job. While still based in Australia, Cycology is now selling to over 80 countries worldwide.
To support their European growth plans Cycology needed to setup a European supply chain. Cycology got in touch with the Holland International Distribution Council (HIDC) through it’s website. HIDC was asked to provide supply chain advice and to help find the best e-fulfilment partner to support Cycology’s growth in the EU.
In January 2021, HIDC and Cycology began discussing steps to find a suitable logistics partner. During the intake we discussed the business goals, critical success factors, barriers to success and the main buying criteria for partner selection. This approach helped in understanding the key logistics requirements and brought tremendous focus in the logistics partner selection.
Based on the requirements from Cycology, HIDC has suggested five logistics partners. After discussions with the suggested logistics service providers Cycology chose E-Commerce Center Europe (ECC) as their European fulfilment partner.
