Arvist chooses the Netherlands to scale AI-driven warehouse innovation across Europe
When U.S.-based AI innovator Arvist set its sights on European expansion, the company was looking for more than just a strategic location. It needed a future-proof ecosystem where advanced technology, logistics excellence, and international connectivity come together.
In 2025, Arvist chose the Netherlands as the location for its European headquarters, establishing its base in Rotterdam — right at the heart of Europe’s logistics network.
A strategic gateway to Europe’s supply chains
Arvist is pioneering AI-powered solutions for automated warehouse quality control, safety, and compliance. Its platform seamlessly integrates with existing warehouse infrastructure — from cameras and scanners to WMS data — enabling companies to reduce errors, improve safety, and increase operational efficiency.
To support its rapid growth, proximity to customers and partners across Europe was essential. The Netherlands stood out for its unrivalled connectivity via the Port of Rotterdam and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, as well as its strong logistics ecosystem and multilingual workforce. Rotterdam, in particular, offered the ideal base: a global logistics hub combined with a thriving tech environment.
“As an ambitious AI business experiencing rapid growth, we required a location offering more than mere access to the market. The Netherlands provides a sophisticated logistics network, seamless connections to EU clients, and an established reputation for helping pioneering tech firms expand across Europe. Rotterdam fulfilled all our requirements.” — Werner Stapela, Co-founder of Arvist
From first contact to successful establishment
Arvist’s journey to the Netherlands began in September 2025, when the company connected with the Invest in Holland network through the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) office in Chicago. Soon after, HIDC became closely involved in supporting Arvist’s market entry and integration into the Dutch logistics ecosystem.
By November 2025, Arvist had already joined the HIDC network and participated in the National Distribution Day — connecting directly with industry leaders, partners, and potential customers.
HIDC played a key role in facilitating introductions, providing market insights, and helping Arvist quickly build a strong local network.
Accelerating innovation in European logistics
From its Rotterdam headquarters, Arvist now manages European sales, customer success, and product support, while preparing for future R&D activities. Its AI solutions contribute to more efficient and sustainable supply chains by reducing waste, preventing mis-shipments, and improving workplace safety.
By choosing the Netherlands, Arvist has positioned itself at the forefront of Europe’s logistics and technology landscape — ready to support the next generation of intelligent, resilient supply chains.
