China Mission NDL 2026

Date29 November 2026
LocationHong Kong and Shenzhen, China

As in previous years, and subject to sufficient interest, we will organize a mission to China. The main objective of this mission is to connect participating companies with potential clients, expand their local network, and explore the latest developments and innovations in supply chain management. The mission is supported by several partners from the Dutch business including Port of Rotterdam, the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency and the network of the Dutch Consulates in China.

Why join this mission?

Global supply chains are rapidly evolving. Geopolitical shifts, trade dynamics, and changing tariff structures are pushing companies to rethink how and where they operate. In this landscape, direct access to Asian markets is more important than ever.

China remains at the heart of global supply chains as the world’s leading manufacturing and export hub, while also continuing to grow as a major consumer market. At the same time, the country is driving innovation in logistics, e-commerce, and supply chain technology at an unprecedented pace.

For Dutch companies, this presents clear opportunities. China is one of the EU’s most important trading partners, with the Netherlands playing a key role as Europe’s logistics gateway. Strengthening connections in this region is therefore not just valuable — it is strategic.

Hong Kong complements this position as an international gateway, offering a highly developed financial and logistics ecosystem and easy access to mainland China.

By joining this mission, you gain direct access to key players in the market, valuable insights into the latest developments, and concrete opportunities to grow your business.

In short, this mission offers:

  • Insight into key global and regional developments
  • Access to a leading and fast-moving market
  • Opportunities for new business and partnerships
  • Inspiration in innovation, digitalisation, and automation
  • Stronger positioning within international supply chains

Concept programme

Mission China 2026 - programme (table)

The trip starts on Sunday evening, November 29, in Hong Kong with a welcome dinner. On Monday morning, we begin with a logistics seminar and networking lunch, followed by company visits. On Tuesday, December 1, we travel to Shenzhen for a company visit. From Wednesday, December 2 to Friday, December 4, we will host a Netherlands-branded stand at the China International Logistics Fair (CILF). During the fair, we will organize a networking reception with walking dinner and, if feasible, a Netherlands Logistics Forum.

China International Logistics Fair

The China International Logistics Fair (CILF) is one of Asia’s leading logistics and supply chain exhibitions, bringing together key players from across the global industry — from logistics and transport companies to technology providers and government organisations.

CILF offers an excellent platform to expand your network in China, showcase your organisation, and stay up to date with the latest market trends and innovations. The exhibition covers the full spectrum of the logistics sector, including transport, warehousing, supply chain management, e-commerce logistics, and advanced technologies.

With its strong international focus and extensive networking programme, CILF is a key event for building relationships and exploring new business opportunities in China.

Company visits

During the mission, we will organize company visits with multiple objectives. We aim to explore business opportunities with Chinese companies, expand our network, gain insights into operational processes, and strengthen existing relationships. These visits also provide a valuable opportunity to gather up-to-date market information.

Logistics seminars and networking events

In collaboration with the Consulate, NFIA, and NBSO, we will organize a seminar in Hong Kong and a networking event in Shenzhen. If permitted by the CILF organization and our budget, we will also organize a Netherlands Logistics Forum during the fair. During the seminar, we will promote the Netherlands as Europe’s logistics hub and highlight the latest trends and developments in innovation and sustainability. After the seminar, there will be an opportunity to network. During CILF, we will organize a networking reception and offer the opportunity to participate in the fair’s seminar programme.
