The United States plays a crucial role as a source country for cargo flows destined for the European market via the Netherlands. It is also a global leader in logistics innovations, particularly in digitalization and robotics. This trip offers participants the unique opportunity to connect with potential clients and partners, expand their local networks, and gain insights into the latest supply chain management trends and innovations in the U.S.

Program highlights

The journey begins with a visit to the ProMat logistics trade fair in Chicago. ProMat is one of the world’s largest logistics and supply chain trade shows, focusing on innovations in material handling, automation, and supply chain solutions. It attracts over 50,000 professionals, including shippers, logistics service providers, and suppliers. Participants will have access to hundreds of exhibitors showcasing products and technologies such as warehouse robots, conveyor systems, and software solutions. In addition, seminars and workshops on industry trends and strategies will be held throughout the event.

In Chicago, in collaboration with network partners such as the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) and the US Commercial Services, we will conduct several company visits and participate in a networking seminar at the office of Greenberg Traurig. The delegation is also invited to a formal dinner at the residence of the Consul General.

On Wednesday 19th March in the afternoon, we will travel to Atlanta. Thursday’s agenda in Atlanta includes company visits and a networking seminar organized in collaboration with local partners. On Thursday evening, the delegation is invited to a reception at the residence of the Consul General.

On Friday the 21st March, we will travel by coach to Savannah. Our visit will begin with a presentation and guided tour of the Port of Savannah, one of the United States’ most significant export hubs. The program also includes a networking seminar with the World Trade Center Savannah and a company visit. We will conclude the trip with a group dinner in Savannah.

Participation details

The participation fee for this trip is €2,500 per person. This includes:

• Access to the ProMat trade fair, including the opening event for international visitors and access to the international delegation lounge
• Local transportation
• Participation in all company visits, networking events, and dinners

Travel and accommodation expenses are not included and must be arranged individually.

The trip will proceed with a minimum of 10 participants.
