idverde wins the NDL Innovation Award 2025
Press releaseZoetermeer, 26 June 2025 – On 25 June 2025, the Netherlands Distribution Council (NDL) hosted the second edition of its Innovation Award event, showcasing breakthrough ideas driving smarter, more sustainable supply chains.
Held at the Experience Center of Tempo-Team’s headquarters in Diemen, the event brought together logistics professionals, innovators, and technology experts. Six pioneering member companies took the stage with compelling 5-minute pitches, presenting their innovative solutions across AI, digital transformation, automation, sustainability, and circularity.
The six contestants were:
- Berkshire Grey – Introducing AI-powered robotics for picking, sorting, and packing in warehouses, boosting throughput while significantly reducing workforce dependency for repetitive tasks.
- Econocom – Presenting a financing solution for distribution centers that accelerates digital transformation, enabling optimal and sustainable use of assets while improving working capital and cost predictability.
- idverde – Highlighting a green logistics solution focused on reducing CO₂ emissions, improving biodiversity, and promoting circular landscaping practices for logistics environments.
- Noesis – Showcasing a process mining tool that reveals the real-time ecological impact of purchasing decisions, helping logistics firms make greener procurement choices.
- Ortec – Demonstrating advanced route planning software that enhances customer experience, lowers costs, and minimizes environmental impact through data-driven decisions.
- Secure Logistics – Pitching XS-ID, a secure digital identity and access solution for terminals and logistics facilities, combining speed, compliance, and reliability.
An expert jury chaired by Erik Uljee, CEO DPD Netherlands, has selected idverde as the winner of this second NDL Innovation Award.

These are the kinds of solutions that make the Dutch logistics sector both future-proof and globally competitive.”
