Russia and Ukraine
With great concern HIDC has noted the events in Ukraine. First of all, this crisis is an immense drama for millions of people.
It also has a major impact on supply chains in Europe. Many of our partners, logistics members and clients abroad will inevitably have to deal with the consequences, directly or indirectly. Many sanctions have been imposed on Russia and there is hardly any transport to Russia and Ukraine. There are also other effects, such as the consequences for many Ukrainian drivers in European transport, fuel prices, payment transactions, cybersecurity, hedging (export) risks, etc.
We will of course keep a close eye on these developments and will continue to assist you with your supply chain questions.
